Hey There,
I am the wife of Pastor Robert C. Jones Jr. We met in 1989 on my very first day of college — and I was googly over him immediately! Since then, God has blessed us with a beautiful life together. We have four incredible adult children: Sheena (Micah), Pastor Dr. Robert Ty Jones (Nakeisha), Rogerrick Trebor Jones (Cori), and Re'Josef Trio Jones (Wendy).
Our children and their spouses are such a joy to my heart, but nothing makes my heart leap more than my grandchildren: Landon, Kassidy, Ryleigh, and Baby Rilen. I pray for even more grandchildren — my heart has room for them all!
I also have three sweet fur babies who light up my days — Piper Grace, Bane, and Emery Pearl — our playful Goldendoodles who protect me, keep me company, and make me laugh (especially when they “help” me look for my phone every day!). I'm also a proud "Grandpaw" to six adorable grandpups: Roman, Huego, Winton, Nala, Memphis, and Garvey, who I get to visit often.
My family is what makes my heart beat. I treasure our time together, the laughter we share, and the fact that we talk to each other every single day.
But there's more to my heart...
I'm First Lady Twylia, and God didn’t make a mistake when He made me. I was created on purpose, for a purpose. Ephesians 2:10 tells me that, and I believe it with my whole heart. I am God’s masterpiece.
That truth changed everything for me. It wasn’t just a Bible verse — it became my validation, my confidence, and the foundation for what would eventually become I Am Necessary Ministry.
This community was born from a deep place in my soul — a longing to see women and girls not only love Jesus, but also understand the power, beauty, and value they carry. In 2018, God gave me a vision for something more than just another gathering. He birthed a dream of a safe, authentic space where we could grow in faith, heal from what tried to break us, and walk boldly in our purpose.
We took our first steps in 2019 — small beginnings, but with big faith. No performance. No pressure. Just a few of us, showing up with open hearts and a deep desire for real connection. From living rooms and late-night prayers to shared tears, laughter, and breakthrough moments — God has been writing something truly beautiful.
And now, here we are — building a movement not around perfection, but around purpose. Because here’s what I know without a doubt: You Are Necessary. You are seen, valued, and called.
Welcome to the space where you can be your full self — and grow into everything God created you to be.

Thank you so much for your interest in having me be a part of your upcoming event. It is always an honor to be considered for opportunities that allow me to serve, share the love of Christ, and encourage women and girls to embrace their God-given identity through the truth of His Word.
My first calling is to glorify God by serving my family, building up His people, and cultivating spaces where women are reminded that they are seen, known, and necessary. Because of that, I’m intentional with how I commit my time and energy, especially as a wife, mother, grandmother, business owner, and ministry leader.
In order to faithfully balance these responsibilities, I have a trusted team that prayerfully reviews each invitation and helps me discern whether I’m able to participate. To help guide our decision-making, we prioritize the following:
-
Events aligned with the mission of "I Am Necessary." I’m most passionate about environments that uplift and equip women and girls in their faith and identity in Christ.
-
Multi-church or collaborative events that foster community and discipleship. These gatherings often allow for greater impact and a stronger sense of Kingdom unity.
-
Engagements that allow me to return home within a few days. Family is one of my greatest gifts from God, and being present in their lives is a high priority for me.
-
Events scheduled on weekends or during flexible seasons. Because of my ongoing commitments and travel limitations, events on Fridays through Sundays are generally more feasible, especially during the school year.
-
Opportunities that allow me to travel with a companion. Whether it’s my husband or a trusted assistant, I value accountability, fellowship, and integrity in all ministry settings.
-
While I’m sometimes able to make exceptions, I deeply appreciate your understanding of these guiding values. If you’d like to submit an invitation, please complete the form below as thoroughly and specifically as possible. My team and I will prayerfully review your request and respond in a timely manner.
Even if I’m unable to participate, please know that I’m cheering you on and praying that your event will bear much fruit for God’s glory.
Thanks Bunches
